We are here to supply options to busy laboratories by providing relief work, either in the form of reading glass or digital slide overages or by providing locum necropsy services. We also have a specialty service for local Long Island Veterinary Practices, to provide necropsy/autopsy services to help owners find closure and understand the cause of illness in their beloved pets. If your veterinarian is not currently participating, ask if they would be willing to work with Newman Specialty VetPath.
Long Island Clients: For veterinary clinics that are already clients, the process is easy. For those who are not, just contact us. In-hospital necropsy examinations for dogs, cats and small exotic species, can usually occur within 24 hours. Preliminary findings and histology can be performed, with other diagnostic tests as needed. Turn around on results is guaranteed at less than a month. Local crematoriums and pet cemeteries work with us.
Nation-wide Lab Clients: Contact us with your needs, whether reading slides (glass or digital) or providing necropsy locum coverage. Please submit a message with service needed, dates required, and contact information to pathvet3@gmail.com. Once we check availability we will get back to you within 48 hours.
